It is a full-line distributor, packager and custom blender of industrial and specialty chemicals. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer that offers a competitive salary and benefit package. Ideal develops, manufactures and services our own EverClean™ laundry products for the healthcare, industrial, hospitality and linen markets. Our technicians provide sales and service expertise to our customers in these markets by monitoring inventories, adjusting formulas in PLC’s as needed, training and maintaining equipment. The EverClean™ laundry division is looking for self-motivated persons with laundry experience to sell and service commercial laundries. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining relationships with existing customers and generating new customer sales. Requirements include technical aptitude, proficiency in working with equipment, analytical thinking and communication skills. This position also requires strategic use of products, prices, internal and industry resources and partnerships.

Responsibilities include:

• Establish and maintain relationships with existing customer base and generate new customer sales in assigned areas.
• Learn how to repair and perform preventative maintenance procedures on chemical dispenser inventories installed within customer locations.
• Promote and sell our full product line to all customers.
• Provide Service as needed at customer locations
• Complete monthly reports for customers in the coverage area and submit to customers and corporate in a timely manner.
• Learn the work of planning and executing new chemical dispensing system installations.
• Maintain appropriate coverage in the region where assigned.
• Other duties as needed to guarantee customer satisfaction and overall team improvement.

Skills and requirements:

• 3-5 years industry experience (Linen Supply, Industrial, Healthcare and/or Hospitality).
• Technical aptitude and proficiency in working with laundry equipment
• Creative problem solving and resolution, analytical thinking and communication skills
• MS Office applications, laptop and internet usage, Outlook email proficiency
• Knowledge in washroom chemistry
• Experience selling through cold calls and referrals with prospective new customers is a plus.
• Effective communication skills are required across multiple dimensions including presenting to the customer, management and interacting with R D and technical staff.
• Previous commercial laundry sales & service or laundry plant management are preferred.
