Job Description:

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced freelance Makeup Artists and/or Hair Stylists to join our talented team. The ideal candidate is passionate about their craft, possesses a strong artistic vision, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. This role offers the flexibility to pick and choose your work dates, making it perfect for independent professionals looking to expand their portfolio and client base.

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional on-location makeup artistry services, including airbrushing techniques. OR Provide exceptional on-location hair styling services, including but not limited to: updos, half-up styles, Hollywood waves, various braiding techniques, and professional blowouts. Consult with clients to understand their vision and desired look, offering expert advice and recommendations. Work effectively with diverse clients of all ages, genders, skin types, skin tones, hair types, and hair textures. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace and kit. Manage your schedule and arrive promptly for all appointments. Communicate professionally and clearly with clients and our team. Travel within the specified service areas (Miami to Jupiter, FL).

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in makeup artistry and/or hair styling. Demonstrable experience specifically in wedding and special event hair and makeup. Makeup Artists must offer airbrushing services. Hair Stylists must be proficient in updos, half-up styles, Hollywood waves, various braids, and blowouts. Proven ability to work with a diverse clientele across all ages, genders, skin types, skin tones, hair types, and textures. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel extensively within the service area. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A professional, positive, and adaptable attitude. A comprehensive and well-maintained professional kit.

Compensation:

Competitive per-service rate. Travel reimbursement. Auto gratuity offered on applicable services.
