The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nail care and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every client leaves feeling pampered and satisfied. As a Nail Technician, you will provide exceptional nail services while also promoting additional services to enhance the overall client experience. Responsibilities Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements. Ensure all tools and workstations are properly sanitized and maintained to meet health and safety standards. Provide body waxing services as needed, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction. Utilize knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting nail polish shades that complement their style. Engage in retail sales by recommending products that clients can use at home to maintain their nails. Upsell additional services such as hair styling, hair extensions, or hair threading to enhance the client experience. Maintain accurate records of services provided and products sold. Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments. Qualifications Valid cosmetology or nail technician license as required by state regulations. Proven experience in nail care, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work. Familiarity with body waxing techniques is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of barbering, hair styling, hair extensions, and hair threading is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
