The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, a creative eye for detailed nail artistry and a dedication to providing exceptional client service in a clean, professional, and relaxing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality manicures, pedicures, gel services, acrylics, and nail art;
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment in accordance with state board and salon protocols;
- Build lasting relationships with clients by providing personalized services and consultations;
- Stay current with trends, techniques, and products in the nail industry;
- Recommend appropriate nail care and retail products to clients;
- Maintain proper inventory of nail tools, products, and supplies;
- Collaborate with the salon team to promote a welcoming and cohesive environment;
- Uphold the salon’s standards for professionalism, punctuality, and client experience. Qualifications
- Valid state Nail Technician or Cosmetology license;
- Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in a salon setting;
- Proficiency in various nail systems (gel, acrylic, dip powder, nail art, etc);
- Excellent sanitation and hygiene practices;
- Strong communication and customer service skills;
- Professional appearance and positive attitude;
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends Advanced skills are a plus:
- Experience with luxury or high end clientele
- Nail extension/sculpting expertise
- Social media savvy for promoting nail services and designs
- Knowledge of current nail care products and services
