Position Summary:
Responsible for New Model/Model year vehicle specifications, processes, and reporting in an automotive manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions:
. New model/model year trial vehicle communication with Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) and internal departments in order to determine the vehicle order (QTY & Specification).
. Create & monitor sales specifications for new model/new model year trials and order creation to match those specifications.
. Follow up on new model/model year Specification Control schedule for EO Cut, Specification Communication, BOM (PPL), and issue tracking/resolution.
. Understand the setup of GBOM background data for new model.
. Communicate requests from HMC or internal departments regarding new model/model year to all related teams.
. Control all business processes as related to new model/new model year specification creation, 219 option management, HPCS code management, and broadcast.
. Coordinate EOs as needed through EPI management.
. Submit reports on new model status as required.
. Support in all communication to HMC in order to receive quick responses to close open issues.
. Communicate/coordinate all special requests from HMC to related teams.
. Provide bilingual services including written translations (including daily, weekly, monthly reports) and interactive translation for verbal conversations (meetings,
VIP support); review finished materials for completeness, accuracy, format, and appropriate English or Korean language usage.
. Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.
. Meet all other requirements as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Computer/Management Information Systems or equivalent preferred
Related Experience:
0 – 10 years of job related experience preferred
New Model Development, Advanced Part Development/ Quality, Change Coordinator, or Project Management experience desired

Additional Information:
