un ⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Anime fans and actresses (Tampa) compensation: $150 per initial shoot We are beginning the preliminary stages of a new art book project intended for hardcover print in one to two years. It will seek to bring life through still photography to iconic manga and anime characters. We are looking for women who are anime fans themselves, and feel a kinship to a certain character; only one character per person. This person should be capable of naturally portraying both the physical embodiment and spirit of each individual character. We expect many applicants and only one woman will represent each individual character when the book hits the shelves. For the final photoshoots; all costume, make-up, and styling will be provided but in the initial stages please be able to handle these things on your own. Having a specific character costume would be helpful but not required. For the initial stages just do the best you can and we encourage you not to go out and spend a lot of money on a costume for this project; we anticipate many to apply for some roles and only one will receive the job in the end. Each photoshoot will be specific to the character and will seek to bring life to animated characters in a very tasteful manner. We look to highlight the strength, beauty, intelligence and sexuality of each specific character. The ideal candidate could be an actress, model, or just a true fan. We are not looking to name recognition, just represent the character. No minors please. Final pay for those chosen will be industry standard but pay for the initial stages will be minimal. Initial responses should include a few photos or a brief video clearly showing your face and body, as well as a paragraph or two describing why you feel you are right for a specific role. Please do not forget to state the role you seek to fill. Auditions consist only of a photoshoot and very brief interview to confirm that you embody the spirit of the character; no acting experience or audition will be required at any time.
