Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Spa Coordinator. The Spa Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our salon and spa clients. This position requires excellent communication skills, technical sales knowledge, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome clients as they arrive at the spa/salon
• Schedule appointments and manage the spa’s booking system
• Provide information to clients about available spa services and packages
• Assist with retail sales by providing product knowledge and recommendations
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
• Maintain stock levels of spa products and supplies
• Operate the cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
• Perform basic math calculations to calculate prices, discounts, and tips
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the spa/salon reception area
• Maintain fresh spa water as needed.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge about spa services and retail items offered to better assist guests.
• Educate guests on spa products, services and assist guests with retail selections.
• Support sales goals as outlined by leadership

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in salon/spa is preferred. Aveda knowledge a huge plus!
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with stock management procedures is desirable
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling financial transactions
• Basic math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and tips accurately
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
