This full-time, salaried position is of extreme importance to the company. Our Spa Manager will begin the workday at approximately 9 am weekdays and be responsible for opening and prepping for the day. When the spa opens its doors to the public, the manager will be responsible for coverage of front-desk tasks – including bookings, phone system, appointment confirmations and cancellations, answering texts and emails, wecoming guests into the spa, handling checkout and rebooking, etc. Later in the day, a front-desk concierge will arrive to provide relief, allowing our spa manager to turn to a wide range of miscellaneous tasks, such as promotions, prepping memos and reports, coordinating social-media and marketing campaigns, responding to any special client concerns, planning for special events and open houses, setting of goals, staff meetings, spa appearance, inventory, delegating tasks to staff, etc. Total Body Skin Care and Wellness Spa is not a franchise. It is a local business owned by a husband and wife. The wife is on-site 10 hours per day peforming facials and massage treatments. The husband is off-site and oversees operations. The owners will depend on the Spa Manager to assume responsibility for day-to-day issues that arise, and to assure that spa staff is delivering top-level customer service to clientele at all times. Approximate hours for our spa manager are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Benefits include paid vacation, tuition reimbursement, free monthly service and product discounts.
