Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tailoring, a keen eye for detail, and strong sewing skills. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work in a friendly and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality alterations on various types of garments, including formal wear, casual clothing, and specialty items. Work with different fabrics and materials, ensuring precision and durability. Take accurate measurements and provide expert fitting consultations for customers. Operate industrial and domestic sewing machines, sergers, and other necessary equipment. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Collaborate with customers to understand their alteration needs and provide recommendations.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in garment alterations and tailoring. Proficiency in hand-sewing and machine-sewing techniques. Ability to work with a variety of fabrics, including delicate and specialty materials. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
