In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality alterations and tailoring services to our customers, ensuring that garments fit perfectly and meet their expectations. Your expertise in garment construction and sewing will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving repeat business. Responsibilities Perform alterations on a variety of garments, including dresses, suits, and casual wear. Assess the fit of garments on customers and recommend appropriate alterations. Utilize sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to execute alterations with precision. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding alterations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of alterations while maintaining quality standards. Stay updated on fashion trends and garment construction techniques to enhance service offerings. Qualifications Proficiency in sewing machine operation and hand-sewing techniques. Strong understanding of garment construction principles. Basic math skills for measurements and adjustments. Previous experience in fashion retail or tailoring is preferred but not required. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
