English is a must, bi-lingual ok. Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for fashion and an eye for detail, ensuring that each garment meets the highest standards of quality and fit. As a Tailor, you will be responsible for altering and repairing clothing items, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for our clients. Responsibilities Perform alterations on various garments including dresses, suits, and casual wear to ensure proper fit and style. Use sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to execute alterations accurately. Conduct fittings with customers to assess their needs and preferences, making recommendations as necessary. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available. Collaborate with team members to manage workflow efficiently and meet customer deadlines. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional manner. Stay updated on current fashion trends and garment construction techniques to enhance skills. Qualifications Proficiency in sewing techniques, including the use of sewing machines and hand-sewing methods. Strong understanding of garment construction principles. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to alterations. Previous experience in fashion retail or tailoring is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
