Applique & Embroidery Specialist Position Available In Tangipahoa, Louisiana

Applique & Embroidery Specialist The Old School 1809 W Thomas St, Hammond, LA 70401 Tasks are likely to include:

• determining project requirements by face-to-face interaction with customers
• estimating the time the project will require, and providing a cost quotation
• sending proofs to clients, sewing out samples, and working closely with clients to ensure final product meets their expectations
• selecting the thread, fabric, hoops and designs appropriate to each project
• trimming and finishing designs, fixing thread breaks, replacing bobbins and hooping garments
• machine maintenance (changing needles, oiling machine, selecting correct thread, etc)
• operating embroidery machines to their full ability
• troubleshooting basic problems that arise
• proactively looking for new ways to contribute and solve problems
• performing inventory inspections and reorder supplies as necessary What are we looking for in an applicant?
• must have at least 2 years of applique or embroidery experience (hooping, trimming, knowledge of software, etc)
• knowledge of

AMAYA XL

embroidery machines, Design Shop Embroidery Software, Ioline Cut and Sew Software, CorelDraw software is a plus

• digitizing experience is a plus
