Seamstress, Tailor, Assistant First Hand Zoya Designs INC 200 Great Road, Bedford, MA 01730 Zoya Designs looking for a seamstress to join our team. Job duties include performing fittings, managing appointment and workload schedules, performing alterations and other sewing projects. This is both administrative and skilled position, and job requirement is both sewing and customer service skills. Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with our clients. This is a full-time employment. Our schedule is flexible, but must include an occasional Saturday. Our pay rate is based on skills and experience.

YEARS EXPERIENCE IN SEWING AND ALTERATIONS.

Must be able to complete common procedures, like hemming, taking in sides on lined garment, installing and/or reinstalling zipper self-sufficiently. Knowledge of both men and women’s dressmaking and tailoring Clear and professional communication skills Experience working with industrial sewing equipment Pressing finished goods to make garments ready to wear for the customer at pick-up Completing alterations on a timely basis to insure delivery to customer by promised date Higher education in Fashion Design/Sewing is preferred but not required.
