The ideal candidate will have a passion for garment construction and a strong proficiency in using sewing machines. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and quality craftsmanship are paramount. The Seamstress will play a key role in fabricating high-quality garments, ensuring that all pieces meet our standards of excellence. Duties Operate sewing machines to construct, alter, and repair garments according to specifications. Fabricate various types of clothing and textile products, ensuring precision in stitching and finishing. Collaborate with designers and production teams to understand garment requirements and timelines. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards. Maintain an organized workspace, including the proper care of sewing equipment and tools. Assist in inventory management within the warehouse, including fabric and material organization. Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform basic maintenance as needed. Requirements Proven experience in garment construction and sewing techniques. Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and other related equipment. Strong understanding of different fabrics and their properties. Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in measurements and stitching. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
