Seamstress/Tailor Lidia’s Place 470 Prospect Avenue, West Orange, NJ 07052 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion and a strong understanding of garment construction. As a Tailor, you will be responsible for altering, repairing. Your expertise in sewing will ensure that our clients receive high-quality. Spanish and English speaking Responsibilities Perform alterations on garments, including resizing, hemming, and adjusting fit according to customer preferences. Operate sewing machines and other equipment to complete alterations and repairs efficiently. Keep the work area organized and clean, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use. Requirements Proven experience in sewing and garment construction is essential. Familiarity with fashion retail is a plus, as it enhances understanding of current trends and customer preferences. Proficiency in operating sewing machines and related equipment is required. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
