Southampton, PA 18966 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion and garment construction, with the ability to create high-quality clothing and alterations. This role requires proficiency in using sewing machines and a strong understanding of customer service to ensure client satisfaction. Responsibilities Operate sewing machines and other equipment to construct garments according to specifications. Perform alterations on existing garments, ensuring proper fit and finish. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations for fabric, style, and design. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards. Keep accurate records of work completed, including time spent on each project. Assist in inventory management of fabrics, threads, and other supplies needed for garment construction. Skills Proficient in sewing techniques and garment construction methods. Experience operating various types of sewing machines. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to garment fitting. Knowledge of fashion retail trends is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
