Black Rose Tattoo Inc. seeks a Portrait Tattoo Artist w. 38 months of experience as a Tattoo Artist, Portrait Tattoo Artist, or similar positions in the tattoo industry.

JOB DUTIES

Consult w. clients to understand their specific requirements & desired outcomes for their tattoos; Create customized designs based on client’s preferences; Use artistic skill & expertise to accurately capture features, expressions, & emotions to create realistic & visually stunning tattoos; Collaborate w. clients during the design process, providing expert advice & guidance to ensure their satisfaction & approval; Perform tattooing procedures w. precision & attention to detail, using sterilized equipment & maintaining a clean & safe working environment ensuring compliance w. health/safety regulations, maintaining a hygienic studio & follow proper sterilization procedures; Use color blending, shading, & other techniques to create realistic designs; Stay updated w. the latest tattooing techniques, trends, & tools related to tattoos, & continuously improve artistic skills & knowledge; Educate & provide detailed instructions to clients about tattoo aftercare for proper healing/long-term tattoo maintenance; Build & maintain a strong client base by delivering exceptional customer service & fostering positive relationships w. clients; Promote our work through various marketing channels (social media platforms & tattoo conventions), to attract new clients & increase visibility.

REQUIREMENTS

The candidate must have experience as a tattoo artist. extensive portfolio showcasing expertise; excellent drawing & artistic skills, w. ability to capture facial features, expressions, & emotions; In-depth knowledge of anatomy, including proportions, bone structure, & skin texture, to create realistic and visually appealing tattoos; Proficiency in using tattooing equipment, including tattoo machines, needles, and pigments, while adhering to high standards of hygiene/safety; Ability to work independently & as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism, reliability, & time management skills; Knowledge of current trends/techniques in the tattoo industry, particularly related to face portrait tattoos; Strong communication & interpersonal skills to effectively consult w. clients.
