The ideal candidate will possess a strong artistic ability, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. As a Tattoo Artist, you will be responsible for designing and applying tattoos that meet the unique preferences of our clients while providing exceptional customer service throughout the process. Duties Illustrate custom tattoo designs based on client consultations and preferences. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide professional advice on design, placement, and size. Sanitate all equipment and work areas in compliance with health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff. Perform tattooing procedures with precision while adhering to best practices in technique and hygiene. Manage store operations as needed, including inventory management and maintaining cleanliness in the studio. Apply knowledge of color theory to enhance tattoo designs, ensuring vibrant and lasting results. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and feedback throughout their tattoo experience. Utilize first aid skills when necessary to ensure client safety during procedures. Engage in sales activities by promoting studio services, products, and special offers to clients. Experience Proven experience as a Tattoo Artist or completion of an apprenticeship program is preferred. Strong portfolio showcasing previous tattoo work that demonstrates artistic skill and versatility in styles. Following strict sanitation practices in the tattoo industry is essential. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Knowledge of store management practices is a plus but not required. Experience in customer service roles will be beneficial for enhancing client relationships.
