A Talascend client in the Mobile, AL area has an immediate need for a Fabrication Shop Worker for a temp-to-hire role.
REQUIREMENTS
HS Diploma or equivalent
Experience in construction or industrial environment strongly preferred
Ability to read instructions & measurements; ability to read tape measure and calculate measurements occasionally
Ability to work in environment subject to hot & cold depending on the weather
Ability to consistently lift 25-40 lbs; to pull/tug rope & materials from coils; to stand, walk and squat the majority of the workday.
Dependable transportation to and from facility
RESPONSIBILITIES
This position works predominantly in a warehouse/fabrication shop environment that is not air conditioned. Reading specifications to determine type of material needed; length & gauge of material needed; and any other details to fabricate product to specification
Measuring sling materials to meet specifications set forth by management and/or client
Ability to sew or willingness to learn
