Auto Interior Technician (Disassembly & Reassembly)

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Interior Technician to disassemble and reassemble the interior of high-end or custom vehicles in preparation for interior dye work. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with luxury or performance vehicles and understands the care required to safely remove and reinstall trim panels, seats, consoles, and components without damage.

Key Responsibilities:

Carefully disassemble full vehicle interiors, including: Seats, carpet, center consoles, door panels, headliners, dash trims, etc. • Safely disconnect and reconnect airbags, sensors, and electrical components. Label, organize, and store parts for easy reinstallation. Collaborate with the dye specialist or refinishing team to ensure surfaces are properly prepped. Reassemble interiors with OEM-level fit and finish after dye work is completed. Inspect for damages or worn parts during disassembly and report as needed. Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols.

Required Experience & Skills:

2+ years of experience in auto interior work, upholstery, or custom automotive builds. Proven experience removing and reinstalling interior components without causing damage. Familiarity with airbag systems, wiring harnesses, and vehicle-specific trim removal techniques. Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, quality work. Ability to work independently and follow timelines. Experience with high-end or exotic vehicles is a strong plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in auto upholstery or detailing is a bonus. Own tools for interior removal and trim work preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
