for a Production Helper/Finisher for a Manufacturing facility in the Elkton, FL area. The finisher will work in the finished goods department, preparing products for final shipment. The role involves wrapping, protecting, and packing machinery and equipment, as well as constructing wooden structures to secure fan units during transit. Responsibilities include woodworking, utilizing tape measures to cut wood using circular saws, and employing various hand and power tools such as nail guns and hammers. The finisher must be able to read work orders, either written or computer-generated, to complete tasks efficiently.

Pay:

$18-$21/hr (based on interview/experience) Manufacturing environment (climate-controlled). Wrap, protect, and pack machinery, equipment, and other items for shipment. Construct wooden crates and structures to secure fan units during transit. Perform woodworking tasks including cutting wood to size using tape measures and circular saws. Utilize hand and power tools such as nail guns and hammers to build boxes. Read and interpret work orders to complete tasks. Weigh, tally, stack, and arrange products and packed containers. Replenish packaging supplies and arrange orders from shelves, bins, or warehouse stock.

Qualifications:

1+ years of experience using hand and power tools (saws, circular saw, nail gun, etc.). 1+ years of woodworking or carpentry experience. 1+ years of experience reading and working with tape measure. Forklift experience is a plus. Experience using inventory software or ERP systems is a plus.
