In this role, you will assist in the Wood Millwork Department, supporting skilled team members with various tasks while learning hands-on skills in woodworking and millwork fabrication. This is a great opportunity for someone starting out in their career to learn a skilled trade, receive cross-training in various aspects of millwork, and grow within a company that’s investing in the next generation of craftspeople. Pay Rate $14.00 per hour Schedule and Hours Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm 3-day weekends ! ! Wood w orking Apprentice Duties and Responsibilities Assist with basic millwork tasks under the guidance of experienced team members. Help prep and move materials for planers, saws, and assembly work. Support shop clean-up and organization. Learn to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Participate in cross-training across different millwork duties. Follow safety procedures and company guidelines. Additional related job duties as assigned by management. Wood w orking Apprentice Qualifications and Requirements High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Strong interest in woodworking or carpentry. Shop class, summer job, or woodworking hobby experience is a plus. Willingness to learn, take direction, and be part of a team. Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic . Drug screening and background checks are required. Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted (in-office lifting assessment required) and stand for extended periods.
