Duties Use sewing machines to create and repair upholstery for furniture and automotive applications. Fabricate components by cutting, shaping, and assembling various materials. Employ power tools and hand tools to achieve precise cuts and finishes. Assemble upholstery frames and structures, ensuring durability and quality. Sew fabric covers onto cushions, frames, and other components with accuracy. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols. Skills Proficiency in operating sewing machines for upholstery projects. Strong ability to fabricate components using various materials. Experience with power tools and hand tools relevant to upholstery work. Capability to assemble furniture pieces or automotive interiors effectively. Skilled in sewing techniques specific to upholstery applications. Knowledge of auto restoration processes is a plus but not required. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
