Auto Upholsterer Position Available In Worcester, Massachusetts

Auto Upholsterer Inside-Out Customs LLC 321 Whalom Road, Lunenburg, MA 01462 Inside-Out Customs is looking to add a talented auto upholsterer to our team! We work on a wide variety of cars and trucks, anything from Top-Tier Collectable and Custom Vehicles to nice Daily Drivers. Full Custom Interiors and Interior Restoration are the primary focus for growth in our shop. The work will consist of building custom interiors from the design stage through completion, interior restoration, as well as a wide variety of repairs (seats, headliners, mechanical seat parts, foam, door panels etc.), upholstery replacements (factory covers and leather kits) and replacement carpets. Attention to detail is an absolute must! We take incredible pride in the work that leaves our shop! Preferred experience we are looking for: Disassembly and Reassembly

• Able to take apart a vehicle in a careful and organized manor. Reassemble in the same fashion. NEW and OLD! Measuring
• It is important to know how to read a ruler! There are very few days in the shop where is knowledge is not needed! Sewing and Patterning
• Know how to operate an industrial sewing machine with minor hand stitching. Disassembling a seat cover, understanding how it was stitched, pattern and cut new material, stitch together meticulously. Personality
• Easy to work with, eye for details, willing to learn or teach, self-motivated to accomplish tasks efficiently and methodically. Basic 12 volt
• Soldering, wire routing, +
• testing. Fabrication
• Material knowledge (ABS, MDF, Aluminum, steel etc) as well as power and hand tool experience (Grinders, sanding tools, router, drills, etc.
