Grand Ave, Carthage, MO 64836 Job Overview Wood Motor Company is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Body Shop Technician to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive work and possess a strong understanding of various repair and restoration processes. This role involves working with both hand and power tools to ensure high-quality results in auto restoration, painting, and assembly tasks. Duties Utilize power tools and hand tools for various automotive tasks including restoration, assembly, and detailing. Execute auto painting projects, ensuring a smooth finish and adherence to quality standards. Conduct welding and soldering tasks as needed for repairs or modifications. Work with sheet metal to fabricate parts or components as required. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Competitive Pay based on experience 5 years minimum experience in auto restoration, must have own tools I-car training a plus Skills in welding and soldering are advantageous for completing various repair tasks. Familiarity with sheet metal work will be beneficial for fabrication projects. A strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship is essential for success in this role.
