Product Development – Upholstery 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 405 Rink Dam Road, Taylorsville, NC 28681 Summary Job Description This position is responsible for developing upholstery samples and making patterns for the production and manufacturing of upholstery items. Essential Duties Will be working with product managers and engineers to develop upholstery items Will be making patterns for production, both hard patterns and CAD patterns Must have a full range of knowledge of the upholstery manufacturing process Create manufacturing specifications for cut, sew, upholstery and frame building Ability to communicate with outside vendors Works with minimal supervision and able to meet deadlines Overtime may be required at times Must follow all safety policies and procedures All other duties as assigned Position Requirements Minimum of 10 years upholstery experience Tufting experience a plus Will be upholstering and learning pattern making and product development Physical Requirements The physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
