Final Inspection/Passivation Steel & O’Brien Manufacturing 7196 State Highway 98, Arcade, NY 14009
Position Summary:
The Final Inspection/Passivation is responsible for cleaning and preparing metal and mechanical components for assembly, inspection, or further processing. This role ensures all parts meet cleanliness and quality standards before moving to the next stage in production. Learn more at www.steelobrien.com.
Job Duties:
Clean meatal parts of foreign materials to prepare for welding and assembly Maintain cleaning system (hoses, fluid, etc.) Clean and remove sludge from the screens/pits. Rolls carts to and from parts cleaning area Coordinates component flow with other departments All other duties assigned by management Position may include other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor and/or management

Requires the use of PPE equipment Ability to handle cleaning equipment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strict adherence to safety and environmental procedures
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods. May involve exposure to noise and varying temperatures. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

Attendance on a regular, consistent basis is mandatory.
