The Experienced Interior Installer is responsible for the accurate and high-quality installation of interior components in newly built boats. This includes seating, cabinetry, flooring, trim, hardware, and other finish elements. The ideal candidate has strong craftsmanship, attention to detail, and experience working with marine-grade materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Install a wide range of interior components such as seating, cushions, cabinetry, trim, flooring, and upholstery according to design specifications. Align, fit, and secure components using mechanical fasteners, adhesives, and sealants. Ensure all installations meet quality standards for appearance, durability, and function. Read and interpret blueprints, interior layout diagrams, and work instructions. Perform precision cutting, measuring, and fitting of materials including wood, composites, vinyl, and marine fabrics. Coordinate with electrical and plumbing teams to ensure proper routing and clearance for interior systems. Inspect parts and surfaces prior to installation to ensure cleanliness and readiness. Make minor adjustments or modifications as necessary to ensure perfect fit. Identify and report any defects, material shortages, or discrepancies to supervisors. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or marine upholstery/carpentry training is a plus. Experience in boat interior installation or marine interior construction. Strong skills in measuring, fitting, and finishing marine interior components. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments safely and effectively. Experience working with marine materials including vinyl, foam, composite panels, and stainless hardware. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in confined or awkward spaces. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment:
