As our business grows, we’re looking for a talented and reliable upholsterer to grow with us. Job Overview We are seeking an experience Upholsterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail. As an Upholsterer, you will be responsible for creating and restoring upholstered furniture, ensuring high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction. This role requires proficiency in both hand tools and power tools, as well as experience with sewing machines to fabricate various upholstery components. Responsibilities Utilize power tools and hand tools to disassemble and assemble furniture pieces. Measure, cut, and sew fabrics to create custom upholstery covers. Fabricate components such as cushions, backs, and armrests according to specifications. Restore vintage or damaged furniture through careful reupholstering techniques. Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Experience Minimum 3 years of upholstery experience. Proficiency in using sewing machines for fabric assembly. Strong skills in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials accurately. Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship Ability to lift and maneuver furniture weighing 50 lbs or more Excellent customer service and communication skills
