Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our manufacturing team. The Upholsterer will be responsible for upholstering a wide range of furniture items, including chairs, sofas, and other seating or decorative items. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, strong craftsmanship skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of high-quality, custom-made furniture.

Responsibilities:

Examine furniture frames and structures to determine the upholstery requirements and make any necessary repairs or modifications. Measure and cut upholstery materials, such as fabric, leather, or foam, ensuring proper fit and alignment. Attach upholstery materials using various techniques, including stapling, tacking, sewing, and gluing. Create and install padding, cushions, springs, and other necessary components to ensure comfort and durability. Apply decorative trims, buttons, or other finishing touches as required by the design specifications. Collaborate with designers, craftsmen, and other team members to ensure the timely completion of upholstery projects. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety guidelines and best practices. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the company’s standards and customer expectations. Keep abreast of industry trends, new materials, and techniques to continually enhance skills and knowledge.

$22.00 – $24.00 per hour
