Upholstery Sewing Machine Operator Fixtur-World, Inc 455 Ward Mill Road, Baxter, TN 38544

Duties:

Use and operate various sewing machines and related machinery for upholstery Ability to sew and match patterns, lines, etc. of finished product. Read work orders and maintain data for production schedule and daily reporting Inspect sewing for consistency and quality. Achieve and maintain quality work standards Run product and machine to specification Monitor machine operation to detect problems such as defective stitching, breaks in thread, or machine malfunctions. Place spools of thread, cord, or other materials on spindles, insert bobbins, and thread ends through machine guides and components Guide components or component parts under machine needles and presser feet to sew parts together.

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent (preferred) The ability to sit or stand for up to 8 hours per day Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. Previous experience with Upholstery sewing preferred, willing to train candidate with garment sewing experience. Must have some type of sewing experience! Compensation rate based upon experience.
