Duties Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar to optimize workflow. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. Process payments and handle billing inquiries with attention to detail. Assist veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed, including preparing examination rooms. Provide information on pet care, nutrition, and preventative health measures to clients. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the clinic. Skills The ideal candidate should possess the following skills: Experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician is preferred. Knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal anatomy is essential. Familiarity with aseptic techniques and veterinary critical care practices is a plus. Ability to perform animal catheterization when necessary. Understanding of equine care can be beneficial for specific clientele.
