Employees and the pets they serve have been the focal point in the design of our state-of-the art facilities and equipment. We are looking for people who are passionate about the care of pets to join our team. We are looking for someone who is comfortable interacting with clients, as well as handling and evaluating pets. Previous work with dogs/cats is strongly preferred. Given that we are a new hospital, we are looking for individuals who are open to pitching in where needed, with the possibility of daily roles shifting between kennel attendant and daycare. Previous experience working in a dog daycare program is strongly preferred. Employee growth is important, with cross training opportunities within other areas of the hospital both available and encouraged. Most importantly YOUR voice will be heard, allowing you to have an impact on the practice in a meaningful way. Responsibilities vary depending on assignment (daycare vs kennel): Clean and sanitize cages/kennels. Monitor outdoor play groups. Plan and engage dogs in stimulating/enriching activities during daycare Feed animals and monitor their diet. Apply knowledge of animal health issues. Communicate with veterinarians and staff.
