Veterinary Assistant 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 4300 Hwy 31, Calera, AL 35040 MAC Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team! Our Veterinary Assistants play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care by supporting appointments, preparing for surgeries, assisting with treatments for hospitalized pets, and delivering comprehensive client education. This position is ideal for those new to the field and eager to learn, as we offer thorough training. This position is open to part-time or full-time. Full-time schedule is 3 10-hour days, 2 half-days (one being Saturday). Two Saturdays per month are required.
Compensation and Benefits:

Required qualifications and skill set:
1+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting Proficiency in the following skills: Client Communication Restraint Outpatient procedures Scribe/patient notes Join the Team at MAC Animal Hospital!
