In this role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of veterinary terminology and animal care, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for both clients and their pets. Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar efficiently. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date. Process payments and handle billing inquiries with precision. Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint during examinations or treatments as needed. Provide information on animal husbandry practices to clients. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room. Collaborate with veterinary technicians to facilitate smooth clinic operations. Qualifications Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred. Knowledge of veterinary terminology is essential for effective communication with staff and clients. Skills in animal handling, including dog handling techniques, are highly valued. Familiarity with animal restraint methods to assist during examinations or procedures is beneficial. Understanding of aseptic techniques is a plus for maintaining clinic hygiene standards. • Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for providing excellent customer service to pet owners.
