Summary We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our compassionate team at the Animal Hospital of Central Brevard. In this role, you will support our veterinarians in delivering exceptional care to our furry patients and contribute to a positive experience for pet owners. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures. Provide compassionate care to animals in the hospital and during treatments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment. Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations and treatments. Prepare and maintain laboratory samples for testing as needed. Educate pet owners on proper animal care and wellness practices. Assist with kennel duties including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring animal behavior. Requirements Experience in animal care or veterinary settings is preferred. Ability to handle dogs and cats safely and effectively.
