Veterinary Assistant/Technician Bivens Animal Hospital Punta Gorda, FL 33982 We are hiring a Full time Veterinary Assistant for a small animal veterinary clinic. Experience is a must, although certification is not required. Applicant should have some familiarity with safe animal handling, current veterinary medications, and have used at least one type of veterinary software, and be a stickler for details. Please do not apply if you cannot meet our qualifications. We are a drug free workplace and applicant must be willing to pass drug test. Pay is based on experience. Summary As a Veterinary Assistant/Technician, you will be an integral part of our veterinary clinic team, providing essential support in animal care and treatment. Your core skills in animal handling, veterinary terminology, and animal physiology will enable you to assist veterinarians effectively. You will be responsible for tasks such as animal restraint, catheterization, and ensuring the comfort of pets during their visits.
