Veterinary Assistant/ CVT Beach Park Animal Clinic Tampa, Florida Key Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during exams and procedures Safely restrain animals for exams and treatments Prepare exam rooms and surgical areas with necessary equipment and supplies Clean and sanitize kennels, treatment areas, and equipment Administer medications and vaccinations under supervision Feed, bathe, and exercise animals as needed Maintain accurate patient records Provide excellent customer service and education to pet owners Assist with inventory and stocking of supplies
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting preferred Strong animal handling and restraint skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment Willingness to learn and follow clinic protocols Passion for animal welfare and care
