We are a group of highly trained, experienced animal lovers who are devoted to giving our patients the best care possible. We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Veterinary Technician to join our awesome team. The ideal candidate has to be confident and comfortable rooming patients, assisting in surgery, client education, properly handling and restraining animals, drawing blood and running bloodwork, familiar with x-ray and proper positioning, placing IV catheters, using laboratory equipment and has to have a positive team-player attitude. Qualifications Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant. Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred – or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements. Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required . Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures. Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines. Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
