Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures, ensuring the comfort of animals. Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations and treatments. Perform laboratory tests such as blood work and urinalysis. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilizing equipment. Monitor animal patients before, during, and after procedures. Provide basic care for animals, including feeding, bathing, and exercising. Educate pet owners on proper animal care practices. Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records. Qualifications Previous experience in animal handling or veterinary settings is preferred. Knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology is essential. Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine is a plus. Skills in animal restraint techniques are highly valued. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members. Must be fluent in English and Spanish. A compassionate attitude towards animals and their well-being.
