Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. Your knowledge of animal care and veterinary practices will be essential in creating a welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar efficiently. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, pet care, and general veterinary information. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date in the system. Process payments and handle billing inquiries with professionalism. Assist veterinary staff with basic animal handling and preparation for examinations or procedures. Provide clients with information on pet care, vaccinations, and health concerns as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room. Qualifications Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred. Knowledge of animal anatomy, veterinary terminology, and common laboratory procedures is highly desirable. Familiarity with animal catheterization techniques is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and their pets. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant is advantageous but not required. A passion for animal care and welfare, along with dog handling experience, will be beneficial in this role.
