What You’ll Do In this dual role, you’ll be both the welcoming face at the front desk and a valued assistant in the treatment areas.

Key responsibilities include:

Client Service Responsibilities:

Greet clients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion Check patients in and out, schedule appointments, and handle payment processing Answer phone calls and respond to emails efficiently and empathetically Manage prescription requests and refills (in-house and online) Maintain accurate client and patient records Keep the front desk and lobby clean, organized, and welcoming

Technical Assistant Responsibilities:

Assist with patient restraint and provide hands-on support to veterinarians and technicians Communicate clearly with clients and gather detailed medical histories Follow instructions from DVMs and lead technicians with attention to detail Assist with lab sample processing and maintain cleanliness of exam areas Learn and grow in your understanding of veterinary procedures and protocols Utilize Rectangle for client payment processing and basic Avimark functions What We’re Looking For 1-2+ years of experience in a veterinary setting, preferably in a CSR or assistant capacity Calm, compassionate, and capable of multitasking in a busy clinic Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude Comfortable with animal handling and patient restraint Experience with Avimark and/or veterinary software is a plus A genuine love for animals and a desire to contribute to a mission-driven organization Growth & Development This is an entry-level technical position with room to grow .
