Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the necessary skills to provide excellent support in a kennel environment.

Duties:

• Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
• Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas
• Monitor the health and well-being of animals
• Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing
• Handle animals with care and compassion
• Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
• Assist in restraining animals for medical procedures

Skills:

• Experience in veterinary settings or pet care facilities
• Proficient in animal restraint and handling techniques
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
• Knowledge of basic animal care practices
• Familiarity with veterinary terminology is a plus
• Certification as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant is advantageous This position offers the opportunity to work closely with animals in a supportive environment.
