Kennel Attendant Position Available In Dawson, Georgia

Kennel Attendant Dawson Forest Animal Hospital 2399 Dawson Forest Rd E, Dawsonville, GA 30534 Dawson Forest Animal Hospital is looking for a kennel attendant. Job duties include scooping the yard, cleaning kennels, assisting veterinary assistants, etc.

More duties include:

Transporting animals to and from the kennels. Ensuring that the animals have ample, fresh food and water at all times. Cleaning animal waste, spilled food, hair, and other debris from the kennels and kennel area. Disposing of trash in a timely manner. Grooming, playing with and administering treatment to animals under the supervision of the Veterinarian. Accompanying animals on walks, if required. Calming animals who are in distress. Adjusting the air temperature to ensure that the animals remain comfortable. Reporting significant changes in functioning to the Veterinarian or medical professional on duty. Evacuating all animals if an emergency occurs. Laundry duties including washing and folding. Assisting throughout the clinic with cleanliness and other tasks asked of management and/or other staff members. Bathing, nail trims and ear cleanings on patients. Recording personal items and food items for pets. Additional duties may be assigned by management and other senior staff. Every other weekend and some holidays required.
