Location PawSteps Veterinary Center has been providing quality veterinary medicine to patients in the Blackstone Valley, Whitinsville, and surrounding communities since 2008. The Blackstone Valley region is known for its impressive fall foliage, quaint New England villages, farm stands and fruit groves for the picking, vibrant outdoor recreation, and a spectacular display of American architecture. What You’ll Be Working On Assist veterinarians with exams, vaccinations, treatments, surgery, dentistry, and animal restraint Administer anesthetics or sedatives under the direction of a veterinarian Surgical prep, venipuncture, and IV catheter placement Obtaining and maintaining patient medical information Build and maintain client relationships Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care
- verbal and written Qualifications Minimum of 2 year experience working as a licensed vet tech assistant
REQUIRED
Ability to perform routine medical procedures Ability to maintain clear and accurate records Ability to properly restrain patients Demonstrated passion for patient care and client service Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Team player with the ability to work independently to meet goals and objectives Strong commitment to ethics and integrity What’s In It For You Hourly wages PLUS bonus eligibility for full time employees 4-day work week!
