Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is a team player who is passionate about animal care, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and committed to excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures Perform routine lab tests, blood draws, and diagnostic imaging Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed Monitor and care for hospitalized patients Maintain accurate patient records and ensure cleanliness of exam rooms and equipment Provide client education on pet care, nutrition, and medications Support the front desk when needed with appointments, phone calls, and check-outs

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or Assistant preferred Certification is a plus, but not required Strong communication and organizational skills Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Ability to lift 40 lbs. and handle animals of various sizes
