Overview We are seeking multiple dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendants to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and supervision for dogs in a daycare and boarding setting. Your love for animals and ability to handle various breeds will ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for our furry clients. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being. Maintain cleanliness in the daycare area, including regular cleaning of kennels, play areas, and feeding stations. Feed and provide fresh water to the dogs according to their individual needs. Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent conflicts or accidents. Assist with administering medications as directed by pet owners. Provide basic grooming services such as brushing and bathing as needed. Maintain accurate records of each dog’s activities, health concerns, and any incidents that occur during daycare hours. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog’s behavior and any concerns that may arise. Experience Ideal candidates should possess the following skills: Previous experience in animal care or working in a kennel environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with dog management techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving supplies or assisting larger dogs. Experience in pet sitting is an advantage for understanding individual dog needs.
