The ideal candidate will assist our veterinary staff in providing exceptional care to animals while ensuring a safe and clean environment within the clinic. Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians during examinations and procedures
- Assist with animal handling and restraint
- Perform laboratory procedures such as blood draws and sample collection
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment
- Monitor and care for animals post-surgery
- Provide basic pet care instructions to clients
- Administer medications as directed by veterinarians Qualifications
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and aseptic techniques
- Experience in animal handling, pet care, and pet sitting
- Familiarity with animal physiology and behavior
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with equine or kennel operations is a plus
