Veterinary Assistant/Technician All 4 Paws Animal Hospital Apex, NC Job Details Part-time $10 – $16 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Uniform allowance Retirement plan Qualifications Blood sampling Veterinary Technician Certification Veterinary experience High school diploma or GED Entry level Full Job Description • Please note we are located in Apex, NC – indeed doesn’t always show this for some reason• We are currently in need of 1 part-time Veterinary Assistant or Registered Veterinary Technician who can work 3 full weekdays when we’re open along with the second Saturday of the month from 9am-1pm. We are not looking for seasonal or temporary help and our team is too small to accommodate schedule changes every few months so someone in college who cannot work a regular schedule each semester is not a good fit either. Preference is given to those that want to make a career here. Hourly wage is based on previous experience and if a Registered Veterinary Technician.

Requirements for this position include:

A willingness to be flexible, independent, and self-starting as well as a natural compassion for animals. Completion of a High School education or equivalent required. A background check and drug test are mandatory – the candidate we hire we welcome into our family and trust with the lives of our patients. A minimum of 1 year of previous veterinary experience is preferred, but all will be considered. Must be able to walk, bend, lift and carry fifty pounds. In this job, you work with and care for humans as much as animals so excellent people skills are required. Our ideal candidate has an upbeat and friendly attitude and is very organized.
