Pet Care Attendant – Boone, NC 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars 1614 NC 105, Boone, NC 28607 Who we are: Pet Care Clinic of the High Country is seeking a reliable, hard-working Kennel Assistant to join our veterinary team. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone interested in vet school, a vet tech program, or currently enrolled in an online vet tech course. You’ll work alongside our veterinary technicians and doctors to help provide high-quality care to patients while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment.

What You’ll Do:

Provide daily care for hospitalized patients Maintain clean, sanitary hospital environment (kennels, laundry, floors, etc.) Lift and move animals and supplies (up to 50 lbs independently) Assist veterinary technicians with animal handling and procedures Restock supplies, clean exam areas, and perform basic computer tasks

Ideal Candidate:

Positive attitude, reliable work ethic, and attention to detail Comfortable with cleaning and physically demanding work strong interest in veterinary medicine (ideal for students or career starters) Experience is a plus, but not required – we will train the right candidate! Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
